This thing is built like a tank but looks like a tuxedo. Snaps into my RRS clamp perfectly. If you shoot with the GFX100RF, stop hesitating. Your neck will thank you for the stability during those long exposure shoots. No more worrying about the camera tilting forward like it's trying to take a selfie. It fits well, sure. But for the price, I expected a bit more premium packaging. The plate itself works fine with my Arca-Swiss clamp, but the edges are slightly sharper than I'd like when gripping the camera tightly. It does the job, but doesn't exactly wow me. Maybe I'm just grumpy because I missed the coffee run before installing it.

The machining quality is excellent, truly precise for the GFX100RF. However, the black finish shows fingerprints easier than my glasses after a humid day. Functionally, it is flawless and the quick release is smooth. Just keep a microfiber cloth handy if you are a neat freak like me. Otherwise, a solid piece of kit for serious photographers.
